It was our great pleasure to honour Ryan Ramage, Head Custodian at Buckhorn Public School (PS), at this week’s Employee Recognition Dinner as the recipient of the 2024 Sherry Summersides Award.

Ministry of Education Letter for Families

On May 30, the Ministry of Education announced changes to Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) requirements and other educational supports, including:
- Introduction of a new financial literacy graduation requirement.
- Consultation on life skills programming.
- New math standards for new teachers beginning in 2025.
- Revitalization of guidance and career education and career coaches for Grade 9 and 10 students to explore high demand jobs.
